Open season on the Black American Woman who marches for us??

Eric garners death. People are sourcing an outcry for police reform and civil rights. “its open season for the black man” stated Al Sharpton. Hundreds of people, mostly black woman have taken to the streets to protest the brutality of black men across the country. But with violence against black men on the rise no one hasn’t seen the sharp increase of assaults on black women. Several deaths this year alone at the hands of law enforcement. And no one, not even black women, have marched at the levels they have for black men. Why? The answers and disheartening. But first,  lets look at the past and the recent events that brings these questions to the forefront.
The first well known death at the hands of police is the case of Eleanor Bumpers who was shot and killed on October 29, 1984 by New York City police. The police were present to enforce a city ordered eviction of Bumpers from her apartment in the Bronx since she was four months behind on her monthly rent of $98.65. In requesting NYPD assistance, housing authority workers told police that Bumpers was emotionally disturbed, had threatened to throw boiling lye, and was using a knife to resist eviction. When bumpers refused to open the door, police broke in. In the struggle to subdue her, one officer shot bumpers twice with a 12-gauge shotgun.

I understand that as officers, if resistance is met, reasonable force should be used to subdue someone. I’m sure this would have been taken in to consideration if the person in question was white. Trust me. I researched on deaths of female white women by the hands of cops. I could not find one case. That tells us something, that life, especially black female life is not valued.

Take the case of Yvette Smith According to the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office, on Feb. 16, Deputy Daniel Willis, 28 responded to a disturbance at a home in the 100 block of Zimmerman Avenue.
Upon arrival, the two men who were fighting were separated but one was still inside the home with several other people. The Sheriff’s Office said the patrol deputies tried to make contact with the other people in the home but no one came out.

In an initial statement, authorities said Smith was armed and disregarded the deputy’s commands when she came out of the home, which resulted in the deputy firing the shots. But the next day, the Sheriff’s Office retracted that statement saying that they “cannot confirm at this time that the female victim was armed with any type of firearm or other weapon at the time of the incident or that she intentionally disregarded any type of officer commands.

They made a quick assessment based on who she was. After all, black females are always strapped right? This trigger happy mentality of law enforcement is getting worse.

If they are not shooting us to death, they are assaulting us to no end with any regard to us as females. This woman only got attention because of the recent killing of Eric Garner. They used her misfortune to bolster their efforts to give a black man justice. Otherwise, you would probably never heard of her assault.
“She was grilling in front of her home, not committing any crime,” former City Councilman Charles Barron told The New York Post of the incident. “We want these people out of our community.”
Use of the choke hold by New York police officers has been banned for more than 20 years, according to Reuters. Yet the outlet reports that the department has a "backlog" of choke hold complaints currently under investigation.

This latest incident comes just over a week after Staten Island man Eric Garner died while being placed in a choke hold by a member of the NYPD. At the time, Garner was being arrested on charges stemming from illegal cigarette sales. A bystander captured the incident on video.

After a meeting with Garner's family and federal prosecutors in Brooklyn on Friday, activist Rev. Al Sharpton called for an end to the use of the choke hold nationwide.

"We cannot just depend -- and this is important -- on police policy to stop the choke hold," Sharpton said, per Reuters. "We need a federal precedent."

And what about the case where a California highway patrol man pummeled a mentally ill black women face into the ground?? The only reason her case came to light was because the video became viral. What justifies a obviously muscular man punching the life out of a helpless woman??

The most obvious case of disrespect is the one of Dr. Ersula, a Arizona State University professor that was thrown to the grown by police officers after they caught her jaywalking. She was arrested on the college  campus and was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer after refusing to provide identification. She stated that as she was crossing the street, trying to avoid construction that was underway up ahead, a campus officer asked for her ID in a threatening way. When she refused. That is when he grabbed her and threw her to the ground.

All of this and the year hasn't ended. yet no one champions for us. I have recently witness this brutality myself and I'm questioning if I really want to stay in this country any longer. I was much happier in Europe.

As you know; I’m a New Yorker, so I'm on the train going to work. This particular day, I was sitting down minding my own business. Our trains are very very crowded, with half of the Midwest squeezing into NY city. The trains are more crowded than ever. During rush hour, people push their way into the train cars so they can get to work on time. There was a load of people pushing into the train a black female and several black males, the males were very tall and the female was quite petite. As they all were pushing there was a bunch of white males already in the car. This little short fella decides to push this woman with all his might out of the train car. The black guys stepped out of the train. Everyone gasped. Little did he know that she was quick, she said “why the hell did you push me!!” she grabbed onto his shoulder, brought him down and started whaling on him. The doors were closing and he tried to punch her, but she was getting the best of him. And the doors closed on his head. His friends were in shocked. I saw her face. It was a look of disbelief and she screamed. “You n****ers just stood there and did nothing! NOTHING!” I wasn’t surprised. They actually looked disgusted at her, even though she was the one assaulted. The doors closed. The guy got up and complained to his friends as to why they didn’t help him. One guy even said “she was being pushed along with the other guys” he went on to say he would have sued her, but he started it! If he thought for one minute that black men and women pull together, he would have never put his hands on her. The secret is out. Everyone knows we are vulnerable. And they don’t care. They think they can take there frustrations out on us.

Look at the case of Anthony Cumia of the Sirius radio show Opie and Anthony. He recently got fired after putting on a racist rant for assaulting a black woman. He was on 42nd street late at night and he decided to start taking pictures of a shapely black woman in a dress. She caught him and stated that she did not want her picture taken. He proceeded to insult her and then she confronted him. Telling him that she wanted him to erase the pic. After more insults and physical altercation  ensued. Surprisingly, people came to her aid and he was very angry about this. This is his account:

o, I’m taking pix in NYC & a black girl who was in frame punched me in the face. I called her a fucking “&$;;-:” cause that’s what she WAS!

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
Then she punched me 5 more times. She’s lucky I was a white legal gun owner or she’d be dead. Then 5 blacks started giving me shit!

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
I told them to back the fuck off, this wasn’t their show. The cunt then punched me again. Seems white boys don’t hit back. Lucky savage.

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
Wish a cop was around. Although she said she’d tell them I sexually harassed her. Lying cunt. I hope she gets shot in her ass fuck face. Ugh

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
They aren’t people.

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
Im fucking livid. If I was an illegal savage I’d have shot her. The I are violence in her was so predictable. I hope she gets killed.

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
The automatic jump to violence in that community is astounding. No discussion. It’s start punching at the least little thing. Uncivilized!!

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
RT @HuntsvilleDore:a female beat u? -No,an ANIMAL BITCH used it’s instinctual violence on me. I restrained myself from putting it to sleep

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
RT @KyleScutch: Did u hit her back -I was fooled by my upbringing. “Don’t hit a woman”. But this was an animal. I shoulda smashed it’s face

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
The switch to violence is immediate. No discussion, just violence. When will THAT be addressed? Oh, right, never. Slavery did it? Oh, ok.

— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
There’s a deep seeded problem with violence in the black community. Try to address it and you’ll be exiled to racistville. But it’s real.

The total disregard for black females. To be likened to animals and deemed unfeminine. what’s even more scary is again, they know that we are unprotected by our own men. When he stated “ I hope a home boy beats her to death” that is frightening. They even know how much our men hate us.

What perplexes me is the steadily increasing racism growing in this country and the blind desire to date white men in this country. Beyondblackandwhite.com praises white men as if they are the holy grail and truthfully, they are insanely conflicted in terms of dating black women and race. We have too deep and bloodied history to involve ourselves with these men. I say look to Europe. The men are much better (posts to come ;)  Anyways, it seems like we are reverting back to the old days. its funny. Our racial problems didn’t start getting bad till after the OJ trial. Go figure. What’s to be done? We need to protect and project our image. Go against the stereotypes. And when one of us falls, march in the streets for them. Not be fb activists. Teach black little girls that they are pretty. Buy dolls that look like them. Tell them how wonderful they are. So when when society tries to take us down. We are compelled to fight back. Not jump out of our seats every time a black man gets hurt. Why fight for someone that does not fight for us??? Its time to support one another! Our demise is more important. We are the ones that hold the community up.
